Note that Pomegranate seed oil is also known as:
- Pomegranate Seed Oil
- Punicic Acid
Pomegranate seed oil should not be confused with:
- Pomegranates (the fruit the oil comes from)
- Punicalagins (polyphenols in pomegranates)
Studies that use pomegranate seed oil use 400mg of a 72% punicic acid seed oil. While this appears to be in the bioactive range of punicic acid, it is not known if this is an optimal dosage or not.
