Atherosclerotic Signs

Atherosclerosis refers to the buildup of lipid-rich plaques in artery walls. Notable signs of atherosclerosis include an increased thickness of the walls of arteries (visible via ultrasound) and calcium build-up in the arteries (visible via CT scan).
