    Answer: Reactive hypoglycemia

    Reactive hypoglycemia is a type of low blood sugar occurring after a meal. It can happen in people with or without diabetes but may predispose someone to insulin resistance. Increasing the amount of fiber, protein, and fat in a meal may help to minimize the following drop in blood sugar, which is often triggered by meals high in refined carbohydrates.
