Gamma-Glutamyltransferase

    Gamma-glutamyltransferase (GGT) is an enzyme mainly found in the liver. When the liver or bile duct is damaged, GGT leaks into the bloodstream. GGT is a sensitive marker of hepatobiliary disease, but it has poor specificity.
