Increases in milk production have been noted in some lactating women given fenugreek. In some trials, there is a significant degree of improvement, with a near doubling of milk production, but other trials find little to no improvement in milk production.

There is some data suggesting fennel increases infant weight when administered to lactating parents, but the certainty of this data is very low.

There is one study suggesting lactating parents who supplement with ginger produce more milk at 3 days postpartum, but there is limited evidence that ginger increases milk production significantly for an extended duration of time.
