I finished Bachelors of Science at McMaster University in 2010, mainly taking physiology and nutrition courses. Also did some Vitamin D research. Right now I'm an MS2 and should be done my MD by 2016.
One day I'd like to start my own company (possibly with the other editors of Examine =D) with products that have legitimate scientific research behind their efficacy; maybe even hospital medicine related stuff like parenteral and adjuvant therapies for currently available treatment options for various illnesses.
My reddit account is probably the best way to get a hold of me: http://www.reddit.com/u/herman_gill
I take Astaxanthin, Tocototrienol, Vitamin K1, Vitamin K2, Vitamin D(my baby), and Coenzyme Q10 in the morning with some food. I'm also a huge fan of Light Therapy in the mornings.
I have a pre-workout that consists of Citrulline, Beta-Alanine, GPLC, Creatine, Inositol, Taurine, Tyrosine, Alpha-GPC, Phosphatidylserine, Oxiracetam and Theanine. I usually take it with some Scivation Xtend (a BCAA supplement that's basically flavouring with some extra nutrients thrown in). The Xtend isn't really necessary because I don't train fasted, but I like the taste =D
Once I finish that I'll start sipping on my protein shake which is usually some combination of Whey Protein, milk, bananas, blueberries, mangoes, peanut butter, and almond butter.
I also take baths with Epsom Salt and some Zinc Sulphate added in a couple of times a week. I add it in at a 1:100 ratio, so not a whole lot of Zinc.
Before bed I get myself ready for sleep with Dark Therapy in the form of blue-blocking sunglasses. I also take my pre-sleep stack which consists of:
Glycine, Inositol, Taurine, Theanine, and Phosphatidylserine. I also pop 300mcg of Melatonin too.
Nootropics consist of:
Caffeine, Theanine, Aniracetam, Oxiracetam, Ashwagandha, Astragalus, and Vinpocetine. I usually take those in the morning too.
