Menstrual Flow

Menstrual flow (also known as having a period) is the excretion of blood and tissue from the uterine lining through the vagina in the first phase of the menstrual cycle. Menstrual flow lasts for approximately 2–6 days, with a total volume of approximately 30–60 milliliters.
