Quick Navigation

Creativity is a general cognitive ability that is used to create new ideas. While not well-defined scientificially, aspects of creativity are sometimes measured in the scientific literature through tests that measure divergent and convergent thinking. Divergent thinking is the ability to make loose associations to new concepts, and is a skill involved in brainstorming. Convergent thinking is the ability to unify concepts and find similarities.
