Notes for this study:
Supplementation of 600 IU alpha-tocopherol every other day for a decade in women failed to confer any protective effects against cardiovascular mortality, cancer mortality, or overall mortality.

While aspirin itself seemed to protect against strokes, the addition of vitamin E did not provide any additional benefits.
