Notes for this study:
In a randomized, double-blind, controlled trial, 15 participants with lactose intolerance were given lactase-treated milk (250 mg per 1000 ml of skim milk) or control milk on multiple occasions.

There was a substantial reduction in the rate of abdominal pain, diarrhea, distension/bloating, flatulence, heartburn, and headaches after lactase treated milk than regular milk.
