This randomized controlled trial explored the effects of omega-3 fatty acid supplementation on mood, impulse control, and hostility measures. 272 healthy people who consumed under 300 mg of EPA+DHA daily were randomized to receive either 1000 mg EPA + 400 mg DHA daily or a soybean oil placebo for 18 weeks.
