Exercise-induced changes in neutrophil function and oxidative burst capacity were unaffected as well as no changes occurring in IL-4, IL-6, or IFN-y between placebo and 3g (1,200mg EPA and 300mg DHA) daily for 6 weeks in otherwise healthy men. However, a significant increase in IL-2 and natural killer cell activity was noted.
