A study used 2.5g of fish oil (1.5 g EPA and 1g DHA) for 6 weeks in type II diabetics noted that, relative to safflower placebo, platelet aggregation was reduced to one third when stimulated by collagen (no effect from TXA2 or ADP) and reduced both triglycerides and blood pressure but did not affect any other cardiometabolic parameter aside from total cholesterol (20mg/dL, said to be too small to matter) and HbA1c (0.56%, also very small)
