In persons with Parkinsons disease for at least 5 years and at stage II who were then given 30mg/kg D-serine daily for 6 weeks, it was found that the symptoms of Parkinsons as assessed by various measurement scales (UPDRS, SAS, and PNSS) and was well tolerated.
