Examination Of The Effectiveness Of Peppermint Aromatherapy On Nausea In Women Post C-section

Effect None
Trial Design Cohort
Trial Length 24 hours
Number of Subjects 35
Sex Both Genders
Age Range 18-29, 30-44
Notes for this study:
Inhalation of peppermint oil in women following a C-section surgery was effective in reducing nausea in women when the aromatherapy is administered after women begin to feel nauseous. Study was not effectively blinded as there were many dropouts from women who were not assigned to peppermint, and sedation was not reported as a side-effect.
