Mango Supplementation Improves Blood Glucose In Obese Individuals

Administration of 10g freeze-dried mango to obese individuals (inclusion criteria did not necessitate prediabetes or glucose intolerance) over 12 weeks appeared to have a mild 4.3% reduction of blood glucose relative to baseline despite no other dietary or lifestyle modifications.
No other parameter was appreciably influenced, and this pilot study did not use a placebo control.
