Notes for this study:
Supplementation of 15mg saffron twice daily over the course of two menstrual cycles appears to time-dependently reduce symptoms of PMS relative to placebo, with 76% of the saffron group reporting over a halving of symptoms. Depressive symptoms were also reduced with saffron supplementation, with 60% of the saffron group reporting a halving of symptoms.

Placebo group achieved 8% and 4%, respectively.
