In 75 persons with hypertension given 3g of tribulus (either whole fruits or the water extract of the plant) a reduction in blood pressure and heart rate was noted by one week, extending throughout the month of therapy.
Daily urine output increased by around 200mL in both intervention groups, whereas the increase was 12mL in placebo.
