10mg MK-4 taken thrice daily (30mg total) for 4 weeks in otherwise healthy young men was able to improve insulin sensitivity associated with an improved vitamin K status (osteocalcin carboxylation) but without apparent changes in fasting blood glucose or adiponectin.
