Acute supplementation of 200mg in otherwise normal youth that are not currently undergoing sleep deprivation was associated with improved cognitive performance and memory as well as more enjoyment during the cognitive testing.
Self reported measures of calmness, attentiveness, contentedness, and tranquility were not significantly affected by supplementation.
