Notes for this study:
1,000mg of arachidonic acid daily for 50 days in exercise trained men was able to increase peak and mean power output on a Wingate test (failing to increase power output on bench press and leg press tests) and did not affect hormonal or body composition parameters.

Interleukin-6 concentrations were significantly reduced on day 25, but not 50; serum PGE2 concentrations at rest were not significantly affected (trended towards an increase but failed to reach significance).
