Notes for this study:
In a small sized study, 1.23g of Astragalus Membranaceus delivered via liquid tincture in two divided dosages a day over 7 days was shown to activate the immune system (technically, immune cells expressing CD4, CD8, and CD69 were increased in numbers after 7 days supplementation; CD4 and CD8 cells included T cells).

All solutions were flavored and taste masked to ascertain blinding.

Astragalus was most effect, Echinacea was less potent, and Glycyrrhiza glabra had no effect on most cells with slight effect on NK cells.
