Supplementation of 40mg Promensil twice daily failed to significantly influence all biomarkers of circulating cholesterol, although there appeared to be a slight reduction in triglycerides in the whole group (9.7%) which was significantly higher with those having higher baseline triglycerides. Biomarkers of bone metabolism (urinary N-Tx and serum osteocalcin) were not changed significantly.
