Effect Of Propionyl-L-carnitine On Exercise Performance In Peripheral Arterial Disease
Notes for this study:
||Although the overall effect of propionyl l-carnitine on walking was not significant, four of the subjects did see considerable improvements, suggesting there could be "responders" and "non-responders" to the treatment.
|Number of Subjects
In this crossover study, individuals with intermittent claudication and peripheral artery disease underwent three different four-week conditions: a baseline condition followed by a condition where they supplemented 500 mg propionyl l-carnitine twice daily and a condition where they received a placebo.
