Notes for this study:
Supplementation of garlic daily (900mg daily) for over 48 months in adults appears to be associated with a significant reduction in the rate of atherosclerotic plaque buildup relative to placebo (6-13%), but due to the mild increase in plaque in placebo this relative decrease was (relative to the garlic group's own baseline) was a stasis in plaque levels.
