Supplementation of 2.56g of aged garlic extract to otherwise healthy persons for 90 days was associated with increases in natural killer cells and γδ-T cells in serum (2-fold and 8-fold, respectively), and this was associated with a significantly reduced risk of developing sickness and a lesser decrease in symptoms.Funding issues for this study:
