In men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (n=27) or prostate cancer (n=9), consumption of 200mg/kg of raw garlic (via a 1mL/kg concentrated water extract) daily over the course of one month reduced reduced prostatic size (32%) and symptoms in the prostatic hyperplasia group and reduced total and free PSA in the cancerous group (60%)
