A meta-analysis conducted investigated the quality of 6 randomized controlled trials on pregnancy-induced morning sickness and found that ginger was effective, although calling for more evidence as a summation point.

Specifically, 4 studies noted benefit of ginger over placebo yet 2 noted insignificant differences relative to a reference drug of vitamin B6.
