Notes for this study:
Ginger was associated with less symptoms of osteoarthritis when supplemented during the first trial period, and was slightly less effective than Ibuprofen when dosed at 170mg thrice a day (510mg total).

During the second period of the crossover study, the difference between placebo and ginger was not statistically significant.
