In this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover trial, 8 recreationally trained male athletes took 0, 150, 300, and 400 mg/kg of tyrosine prior to exercise in hot conditions (30 degrees C, 60% relative humidity.

There wasn't a notable difference in time trial performance, power output, blood glucose, blood lactate, temperature, heart rate, perceived exertion, or thermal sensation between groups.
