||Exercise stress test change from rest to peak. VO2 mL/kg/min. Mean and SD Placebo: before 11.9 ± 5.0, after 11.7 ± 3.5. Tyrosine: before 13.0 ± 5.3, after 12.1 ± 4.6.

In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, 40 participants with Parkinson's Disease who were taking l-dopa took 1 g of tyrosine daily or placebo for 7 days.
Orthostatic hypertension wasn't statistically significantly different between groups. During an exercise test, there weren't any statistically significant differences in heart rate, blood pressure, VO2, or norepinephrine.
