Eating To Stop: Tyrosine Supplementation Enhances Inhibitory Control But Not Response Execution
Notes for this study:
|Number of Subjects
In this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, 22 healthy female participants took 2 g of tyrosine or placebo before a stop-signal task.
When taking tyrosine, participants saw faster response inhibition, but no difference in response execution. There weren't statistically significant differences for mood or heart rate.
