After using Stinging Nettle Root for 6 months at a thrice daily dose of 120mg, 81% of the intervention group had improved symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia while 14% of placebo did.

Stinging Nettle continued to alleviate symptoms with no side effects as long as it was used, with no differences between experimental and placebo when experimental ended usage of the supplement. A band-aid effect rather than curative.

Testosterone levels were unaffected, and no size changes in the prostate were noted.
