A previous study on dementia assigning 120mg EGb-761 twice daily for a period of 6.1 years (median value) was analyzed for the interactions of ginkgo and cardiovascular diseases. While there was a reduced risk of peripheral vascular diseases associated with ginkgo, there was no influence on myocardial infarction risk nor stroke.
