Notes for this study:
In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover trial, 64 overweight females were allocated to take 2.8 turmeric, red pepper spice, or placebo for 4 weeks.

There were no statistically significant differences in the change in eight, body fat percentage, systolic blood pressure, arterial stiffness, fasting glucose, c-reactive protein, Il-6, IL-8, TNA-alpha, F2-isoprostanes, or oxidized LDL between the turmeric and placebo conditions.
