In otherwise healthy men given 50g of either a flavonoid rich dark chocolate or the control (white chocolate) two hours prior to a psychosocial test, it appeared that the increased in blood clotting expected from the psychosocial test was attenuated. The adrenaline response did not appear to be altered.
