Supplementation of riboflavin in youth (pediatric and adolescent subjects) at either 200mg or 400mg a day over the course of 3-6 months appeared to be beneficial in improving symptoms of migraines.
The amount of subjects in the riboflavin group reported more than a halving of migraine frequency reached 68.4%, whereas average intensity reported from migraines was reduced 21% compared to baseline (no significant change noted with placebo).
