Clenbuterol, at 80mcg daily in a population of persons with chronic heart failure, was able to increase lean mass and decrease fat mass with no overall significant changes in body weight.
High rates of muscle cramping seen in the experimental group, and there was a non-significant trend towards decreased endurance.
