15-30mg elemental zinc (as glycinate) to children with diagnosed ADHD for eight weeks in isolation (compared to placebo) and then with an additional 5 weeks paired with D-amphetamine was able to lower the optimal dose of amphetamine (37%) but failed to inherently improve attention.
