Notes for this study:
In persons with encephalopathy following gliomas or acute
lesions (of organic origin) given 200mg phenylpiracetam once daily noted improvements in depression (38+/-4%), anxiety (50+/-5%), and cognitive decline as assessed by the MMSE (45+/-6%) when compared to baseline. No control group was used in this open-label study.
