Notes for this study:
This study looked at 90 Korean older adults with mild cognitive impairment. Each group consumed either 3 grams of ginseng or a placebo (3 grams of starch) for 24 weeks. Cognitive tests, such as the Korean-mini mental status examination (K-MMSE), Korean-Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (K-IADL), and Seoul Neuropsychological Screening Battery (SNSB) were performed. K-MMSE and K-IADL were performed at baseline, 16 weeks, and 24 weeks. The SNSB was done at baseline and 24 weeks.
