Memory performance in recall tests (immediate and delayed object recall, word recall, and overall free recall tasks (but not object recognition) was seen with supplementation of CDP-Choline at 500-1,000mg daily in older persons with memory deficits but not dementia.

In older adults (50-85) given 1,000-2,000mg CDP-Choline for 60-90 days was able to improve verbal memory formation, with the lower dose (1,000mg) being effective only in those with lower baseline memory scores and the higher dose being more effective for all subjects.
