Notes for this study:
1g of TTA taken daily for 28 days in an open-labelled study, decreases in LDL and increases in HDL apolipoproteins was seen; a drop in diastolic blood pressure (from 88 to 83) was seen despite systolic remaining static (136 to 133). Weight was not decreased when diet was not controlled.
