Notes for this study:
In a placebo-controlled trial crossover trial, 23 adult men smoked a 1 cannabis cigarette containing 1.83% THC or placebo (there were also isolated cannabinoids used but this page doesn't concern them). They were separated into groups based on how much they had previously smoked cannabis: regularly, intermittently, or occasionally. 3 days were for cannabis or the isolated cannabinoids, and one was for placebo.

There was a small reduction in prolactin for regular and intermittent users which may not be reflective of anything. There was a larger reduction for occasional users, though none of these differences were statistically significant.
