Age Range 18-29
Body Types Average
Notes for this study:
In adults who reported cannabis usage, inhalation of cannabis (20-25 tokes to finish off 1.4g of cannabis, conferring 18.2mg THC) before exercise failed to influence power output as assessed by a grip strength test but was successful in reducing endurance performance on a cycling test by 25% when performance was being held at 170 BPM (heart rate).

At rest, diastolic blood pressure (by 15mmHg) and heart rate (from 73.7BPM to 105.8BPM) were increased with cannabis, with an apparent increase in systolic blood pressure as well. Blood flow appeared to be unaffected.
