In an 8-week randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, 18 participants with fibromyalgia took one drop of a cannabis oil extract containing 24.44-mg/mL of THC and 0.51 mg/mL of CBD sublingually or placebo every day.
There was a statistically significant greater benefit of cannabis for Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire, subjective mood, job ability, and pain. There wasn't a statistically significant difference for depression, anxiety, stiffness, morning fatigue, daily fatigue, work missed, or physical function, though there were some non-significant greater improvements.
