This study aimed to find the differences in post-prandial oxidation between the mediterranean diet and a higher saturated fat diet, and whether CoQ10 was additive to this.
It was found that there was less systemic oxidation after consumption of the Mediterranean diet composed meal in elderly persons, and CoQ10 supplementation was able to further reduce oxidation.
