Time-restricted Feeding In Young Men Performing Resistance Training: A randomized Controlled Trial
Notes for this study:
||Both groups had increased hip sled and bench press one-rep max, but there were no differences between groups. Among the individual participants, protein intake was highly correlated with increases in protein intake.
|Number of Subjects
In this randomized controlled trial, participants were assigned to an 8-week resistance training program with three nonconsecutive training days per week, plus one of two diets: a normal diet or a 20:4 protocol which was employed on the four non-training days each week. At the beginning and end of the study body composition, hip sled and bench press one-rep max, and subjective measurements were recorded. Additionally, dietary patterns were measured for four days during the first, fifth, and eight weeks of the study.
