23 females ingested 5g of calcium pyruvate for 30 days in conjunction with an exercise program.
A beneficial trend was noted for lowering fat mass and preventing fat gain with no influence on lean mass in conjunction with an exercise program. However, these results were not statistically significant.
Performance on submaximal cardio exercise was not different between groups.
