Notes for this study:
In obese nondiabetic subjects with impaired insulin sensitivity, consumption of 22.5g blueberry bioactives (1462mg phenolics and 668mg anthocyanins) daily for six weeks noted that 67% of participants consuming blueberries had a 10% or greater improvement in insulin sensitivity (41% of placebo) and the overall group change in insulin sensitivity was greater with blueberries (22.2+/-5.8%) than in placebo (4.9+/-4.5%)
